Course or fine, spheroid or winged, pollen is one of the main ingredients for sexual reproduction in plants.

Pollen is a powder, which can be fine, but ranges from fine to course, which is produced by flowers to provide male sperm cells, which then fertilize plant ovaries. It is most often spheroid, but can be other shapes. In some conifers, pollen is winged.
