Whether you’re celebrating Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanza or Eid ul-Adha, one of these beautiful desert plants will surely brighten up your day.

It’s called a Christmas cactus, but it’s also called tsejo, cholla, pencil cholla, diamond cactus, and darning needle cactus, it produces brilliant red fruits in December and January, and fits in with any festive celebration.

It also reminds us of the still and beauty of the desert during this season.

Read about this cactus, and others inColorful Cactus for the Holidays.
